Yesterday we celebrated National Simultaneous Storytime, when schools, preschools and public libraries around Australia enjoy reading the feature book of the year. The national broadcast took place at 11.30am and students gathered in the library to hear a reading of the book, ‘Bowerbird Blues’ written by Aura Parker.
In the lead up to the event our Library team put together displays, fun facts and activities about this fascinating bird that is only found in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
